The Savinja statistical region (Slovene: Savinjska statistična regija) is a statistical region in Slovenia. The largest town in the region is Celje. It is named after the Savinja River.
The region includes the following municipalities: Bistrica ob Sotli, Braslovče, Celje, Dobje, Dobrna, Gornji Grad, Kozje, Laško, Ljubno, Luče, Mozirje, Nazarje, Podčetrtek, Polzela, Prebold, Radeče, Rogaška Slatina, Rogatec, Slovenske Konjice, Solčava, Šentjur, Šmarje pri Jelšah, Šmartno ob Paki, Šoštanj, Štore, Tabor, Velenje, Vitanje, Vojnik, Vransko, Zreče, and Žalec
It has a total area of 2384 km².
