Peter Žonta (born January 9, 1979 in Ljubljana, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Slovenian ski jumper who competed from 1996 to 2005. He won a bronze medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in the team large hill event.
Žonta also won the individual large hill World Cup event at Innsbruck in 2004.
