Moravany nad Váhom (Hungarian: Moraván) is a village and municipality in Piešťany District in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1348.
A small female figurine called Venus of Moravany was found by the village.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 200 metres and covers an area of 10.786km². It has a population of about 2041 people.
